Miss USA 2022 will be the most diverse pageant ever with 51 women around the country vying to represent the United States in the Miss Universe Pageant that includes the first transgender competitor, a US air force veteran and an Afghan contestant!!

It will be held today with the swimsuit, evening gown and question and answer segment in Tulsa, Oklahoma

28 y/o Kataluna Enriquez from Nevada is the first transgender contestant in Miss USA history as she works as a healthcare admin but also owns her own clothing line called KatalunaKouture.

She competed in pageants since 2016 while working as a model who was born in the Philippines and moved to the US at 10 .

She didn't have a lot growing up or had much support but was able to thrive and survive in the US on her own and became a trailblazer for many

She says "Don't let your differences determine what you're capable of. Your differences is anything what makes you unique, and you are capable of anything as long as you believe in yourself"
