I was scrolling through after downloading an emulator and there's a lot of ones with great art and reviews with millions of downloads and I've never heard of a single one of them. Makes me wonder how many genuinely good projects have been made for mobile that get overlooked by the console/pc demographic because they're stuck on a touch screen and surrounded by p2w/gacha/scams/etc.

Back when Flash was the dominant force in casual gaming I remember there being a lot of shitty flash games mixed in with the good ones, too. But for some reason it was a lot easier to find the good flash games than it is to find the good mobile games.

If she says we partied, then I'm pretty sure we partied. I really don't remember. I remember we departed from our bodies.

I highly recommend Polytopia.
It's a turn based strategy game, think Civilization but far lighter.
It's got 0 ads but you have to buy the different tribes individually. You can get tons of gameplay out of just the base 4 tribes you start with.

My wife and I have been enjoying playing is vs. recently as well as single player.

User ratings vs. ads.
Newgrounds and the like just had a simple "this has gotten a lot of 5 star ratings in a short time, to the top!" Algorithm. The app stores have tons of ads.
Also you can pay companies for fake reviews on top of that.

The Room series would be held in much higher regard if it were a PC game, I think. It's a top tier puzzle series.

I'll second Polytopia. I don't know if they've added much to it since I last played (a while ago) but it was simple and very chill to play.
