Others struggle. That's true for neurotypical people as well. I think it just goes to show that it's not a disability. It is just a different brain configuration.

Not exactly. I believe that in Elon Musk's case, it's a literal advantage, not a handicap. The man probably runs numbers better than your average CEO.

This is, in the end, a pretty detrimental view.

There are a lot of people on the spectrum that need substantial care, and by pretending that it's just some sort of natural variation (and making that the "appropriate" thing to say), you are preventing conversations that need to be had about substantially increasing our government funding of long term care facilities.
