Don't get into the habit of being the reliable one because you feel you need to be
Be the reliable one that does fuck all work and make it seem like you're reliable so you get raises/promotions

I always tell new hires "Don't kill yourself." I'm not referring to suicide, I'm referring to doing too much for Whole Foods when they don't really do much for us.
The majority of employers suck. But you do you.

I work with a few people who work all sorts of hours, but that is because they are work-aholics...plus they rightfully respect our manager.

But I work with other who work over-time because, 'hurrdur overtime pay'...and don't seem to realize you should have to work 60 hours a week during covid with a massively bigger workload to make ends meet.

Also there will be a Covid spike in NYS. I saw so many downstaters this week...that won't end well.

I had an assistant principal tell me not to go on suicide alert due to them messing up my classes that year. I have been battling with depression and suicidal thoughts for my entire adult life, be careful with the wording you choose, I wanted to knock his dick in the dirt.
