Lars & Beru 3PO & R2 (Toto & Tin Man) Luke is such a Mary Sue Chewie is the Lion Han is like a Scarecrow (no brains, no brawn) Leia is like a Dorothy (her home destoyed, running from a wicked wizard) Old Ben is not who he appears to be. I think the beats in Empire (giant face, turns out the family was still there) confirm this Even the iniual encounter and eventual assault on the Deathstar may reflect the Flying Monkeys & Witch's Fortress. Which is very Jabba's Palace, eh? None of the good guys are all that good, etc ... Copied to Clipboard!
