Kind of.
It's a "Truffle" game. White chocolate. Dark Souls. Arkham City. The Darkness 2. Those were kinda your Big 4. But it's also a Dragon game. It's a GoT game. It's closely related to Minecraft, culturally. That was kinda when the industry made the shift, where gameplay was either modeled after Souls or Skyrim, and we learned that Skyrim games sell a LOT more... Especially when there's multiplayer and microtransactions involved. Skyrim is sort of a Millenium Falcon. If you're a kid, you love it. If you build mods, you love it because man it's barren. The dwarven catacombs are where I decided to suck the life out of the game, never buy a single DLC pack, and lambast it until the end of time. Skyrim VR adds another 9 hours of real enjoyment. So, it's a solid 18 hour experience stretched over 10 years. ... Copied to Clipboard!
