Ive been playing the game for a few days now. Its a pretty short game ranging from 12-15 hours.

I will give a lot of praise to this games story, plot, characters, music, and visuals. You become invested in whats happening and you begin to care for the GotG. The characters are all likable while remaining extremely flawed. These flaws make them stand out in my opinion. They also grow on you throughout the course of the game and there are some excellent bonding moments should you choose to look for them. The music is way better than I expected. Not video game soundtrack of the year but there are some good stuff here. The game is gorgeous, too.

The combat isnt dogshit like some people say. Its just alright. It becomes better as the player unlocks more abilities but I still felt like this is a poor mans FF7 Remake in terms of the combat. You only play as Star-Lord and you tell the rest of the Guardians when to use their special abilities.

The dialogue choice system is actually pretty neat. The choices you make actually do matter even if theyre minuscule. The devs did a good job here.

Overall, for the discounted price, I definitely recommend picking this game up. For $25-30, its a good time. Thanks for reading my mini review :)
