JimmyFraska 11/25/21 12:11:46 PM #1:	I know that was a pretty basic plot back then, but in this one specifically, it starts with a cutscene where the villain, a green guy on a motorcycle, flies by and snatches the girl at high velocity. I thought it was Final Fight, which like DOuble Dragon has a similar story, but I looked it up and can't find that particular scene. Thinking about it cause it reminded me of this movie I just watched, Streets of Fire: https://youtu.be/vVNXpQOHnAo The film The Warriors by this same director, Walter Hill, I know also inspired the betemup game genre. This movie streets of fire, really reminded me of the scene in this arcade game I'm describing, I feel that part of the plot and Willem Dafoe's character definitely inspire the game. I looked up Streets of Fire and though it bombed here in '84, they brought it to Japan afterwards and apparently it actually did well and developed a following.
