Please tag the spoilers. Anyone watch this yet? It's out today finally, it's an hour long special and my god it was hilarious. I love all the adult versions of the kids. Not going to delve in the TC but it's totally worth watching. Direct continuation of the previous special, too.

I got Hulu because that was where South Park was years ago. Then it moved to HBO max so I went with that. Now this special is on Paramount. I cant keep following it around.

Yeah but it's still a fuck you since you have to jump through hoops just to legally watch a tv show special. I believe this quote rings true in this situation, also Paramount+ should be legally in the UK at the start of 2022.

Its hilarious but I worry some of the jokes/references will be lost on the more casual fans.

The ending lmao I was waiting the whole time to see what butters was like and some how was too stupid to catch onto Victory C. being him because they intentionally mispronounced chaos lol

I liked it a lot, I just wish it was on Comedy Central like new South Park always has beenbut you know because its the future everything has to be on a streaming service Luckily I had a free trail for Paramount lol

As far as I can tell, no.

Paramount is a Viacom company which literally owns South Park. Once the old HBO Max deals ran out they were always going to Paramount and are going to stay there. You seem to think Paramount is giving money to themselves or something. Trey Parker and Matt Stone were offered money to make the episodes, but Paramount has always owned South Park and they have their own service now and whatever deal they had with Warner probably expired. It's a no-brainer.

No, they got $550 million to stream for HBO Max exclusively for 5 years. This is a separate deal where Viacom paid Matt and Trey's studio $900 Million to make 6 more seasons and 14 specials on Paramount +. Hence the stupid money part because now the specials will be separated from main show content on different services.
