24 y/o Wisconsin Student, Daniel Rider unwittingly let the Christmas Parade Killer, 39 y/o Darrell Brooks into his home minutes after he drove into the parade killing 6 as the "nervous" man sat on their sofa, called his mom and "lied about everything"

He is now charged with 5 counts of first degree intentional homicide but will increase to 6 after the death of an 8 y/o boy was named yesterday

Brooks was offered 5 million bail when he appeared in court in a gown and sobbing uncontrollably as a lawyer put her arm around him

The decision sparked fury from the victims families as he already has a lengthy rap sheep and was on 1000 bail set by his mother who now regrets it...

Daniel said he was watching football with his gf when someone started banging on his door and dramatic footage showed brooks pleading for help claiming he was waiting for an uber

Rider had no idea what just happened and whether he should let him in but remembered at a recent church sermon his mother told him about helping the "homeless"

He said "So i was like, oh this was my chance to help somebody. I'm going to warm him up and give him something to eat. I gave him a jacket, made him a sandwich and just watched over to make sure everything was okay"

Brooks asked him if he knew what happened but he had no idea cause he was watching the game as brooks was given rider's phone and making excuses on what was really going on.

At this point, Rider is nervous about the flustered man and brooks started getting really nervous before a police car starts driving up and down the block at which point rider asked him to leave

Brooks was arrested shortly after leaving with dramatic footage showed the arrest

The uber his mom showed up maybe a minute after calling his mom and he was already in cuffs

Rider said brooks was so polite and nice to him and listened to everything not knowing what had really happened but is lucky he did not DIE that day too.
