I'm just getting to veilstone now. I don't get a lot of time to play but I play when I can. Also chose Shining Pearl. Turtwig is my starter because I gravitate towards the grass starter most generations.

Me too actually. I've been busy with work and other things so there just isn't time. I did get to the nursery though which is nice

Turtwig is the only non fire starter I've ever chosen. I love him

Yeah, Im at veilstone as well. Spent an actual chunk of time playing yesterday and got the breeding essentials set up thanks to the trade board so that was very cool.

Also got some neat mons, its weird not to be able to wonder trade for breedjects.

For the first time, Im actually not getting the next mainline Pokmon game.

I just wasnt satisfied with the last few releases, I think I may be done with the series.

Oh, someone was kind enough to give me a 6 IV shiny ditto so I was going to start cloning that once I got a masterball.

If anyone has one they would let me clone and return you can have a copy of the ditto. Plus then I could hand the dittos out as I would essentially be cloning them for items.

I've been busy so I made it as far as the second gym. Diamond version, because I played Pearl growing up and I wanted the better version exclusives. Especially for any nuzlocke I might want to do.

I've never played gen 4 so my initial thought so far is that I'm really annoyed by how few pokemon you actually find on the overworld

The underground seems to be where you're meant to spend most of your time?

Otherwise literally everyone would have the same team

That's like 98% of what you see in the first 10-12 hours of the game >__>. Like aren't there 500 pokemon by this gen?

Also I have a Gible egg Im trying to hatch. When it hatches you can borrow it to breed with your ditto

I'm very overleveled in the overworld but underleveled in the underground, get smoked constantly by wild Pokemon that I'm trying to catch. Don't know if there's a consistent Healing Area underground, and I'm guessing they level up according to your badges?

There are two guys in the corners that will heal you that I have found. I only have two badges so far.

Also, for the dupe mass may be a bit misleading when compared to missingno, but you can do batches of six really damn fast.

Yes I think they level up, I defeated the 4th gym and they got about 10 levels higher than they already were
I cannot catch anything down there anymore lmao

Idk if this is a glitch or not, but when you get an egg it will show up in your pokedex before it hatched. But even MORE strange, is that you can breed eggs in this game

I accidentally left an egg in the daycare with ditto and now I have another egg
