I bought ETH for the first time in January 2017-ish, I think, when it was all the rage because it had risen to like 1700. It collapsed to a bottom of like 130, lost money, etc. Cut my losses mid-2020, convinced myself it had been a one time thing only. Then it went up to like 5000, I could have multiplied my wealth 50x if I had stayed in.

So then I see crypto is on the rise again, this like two months ago. I put some money into BTC and ETH. Guess what happened next.

Not the lesson I would take. BTC and ETH are excellent investment if you buy and hold long term. Dont try to time the market.
