normally when i play fire emblem i accept when a unit dies and continue to play and let them stay dead unlike how other people play by resetting everytime they lose a character.

well this time im doing that as well. if a charcter dies i treat it as a loss and restart the fight
and i have a list of what characters ive recruited and put them into a site that randomizes lists
so every battle i randomize the names and get a random team for that battle

its been fun

I heard fire emblems path of radiance sequel changes the way bonus exp works. How much? I wanna continue the random team playstyle I've been doing but it relies on bonus exp to be possible

There's some buildup to in in PoR but RD completely drops it and goes very heavy on her other main ship.

I don't think Ike is necessarily gay, at most a 5 on the Kinsey scale. Much like Ashnard, he's attracted to strength. Unlike Ashnard, physical strength is only part of it and strength of character attracts him too. That's why Soren and the princess draw him in. He also likes Lethe and Reyson, though not enough for any level of romance.

In PoR, leveling up from bonus exp gives you random stat ups. In RD, it's guaranteed to be exactly 3 stat points up. If you heavily level up with it your averages will be slightly lower than they could be. However, if your characters have capped some of there stats, it forces 3 lower stats to be raised. So it's great when you're close to promoting. But it doesn't really matter for that game, your characters are constantly switched up anyway

Amusingly, I just finished a run like that for Binding Blade. It was a video series, and a silly one, but it was a lot of fun.

Sadly the views bombed, but it was an entertaining way to play FE.

its dumb that you can choose your mages to either get to use healing staffs or knives when they promote to sages.
i mean they lack the strength to ever make use of the knives
and the healing staff is good in their hands so its a no brainer

and of course the 2 already promoted sages you get both use knives

i wont pick my team randomly this time but rather pick the characters that i havent used yet as well as my favorites

To be fair, Begnion being incredibly corrupt was pretty firmly established in PoR. RD just pays off from that plot point.
