Can we all agree that El-P is one of the goats? Not only is he an absolutely filthy rapper-producer, but he (and Adult Swim) introduced me to a bunch of amazing artists through his collaboration and labels.

Funny, my last post was just about El-P. RTJ seems like they're in a nice little place between underground and mainstream.
I hear their music a lot in, like, ads and stuff, but you'd be surprised at the amount of people that (somehow) doesn't know who they are out in public and the lack of radio play they get.

RTJ is good music. They're outstanding.

Everything from Mos Def to Sada Baby.

Was my main genre my whole life. I went from backpacker to listening to stuff that I can dumb out and get hype to. I'm not huge on the new emo type stuff. Or when rappers don't have good bars, yet they still decide to leave pauses in-between their lines like they're saying something. That shit is super boring to me. At least when they have a good paced flow you don't just sit there realizing every bar isn't really saying anything deep lol. You just feed off the energy. I guess maybe I just don't feed off that slower type of energy.

I honestly can't pick a favorite anymore cause it depends on my mood. I just think the most important thing is to not gatekeep
