Because the bezos and masks of the world need another billion dollars to fuck around with space before the common rich man (100 million or less) can afford it.

Just think, what if peasant could one day shoot cars into space or spend a few minutes there? They'd just fuck it up and ask for food, water, qnd a livable wage even more

It's not to lower prices it's to give their staff a living wage. Walmart went up to $15 a hour this year and since then they redesign stores to be Self Checkouts only. They are going to find a way to screw their employees or customers over before they lose profits.

So then it isn't to give anyone a living wage. It is to get profits.
Profit over people. Profit over ethics.

Society needs to stop acting like it is ok for a business to mindlessly pursue profit. It is not.

Because it depends on the benevolence of the company to pass along those savings onto customers. Unless, they're in a price war with another company they have no reason to do so.

"Money is the root of all evil."

I wouldn't say capitalism itself is evil, but free markets are not ethical markets.

Because thus far capitalists have used automation only to further their profits, surprise surprise.

The question is to suggest customers to be more aware.

I asked my brother about Chickfila rasing prices. He said "they had to, cause the economy."
Customers are stupid and excuse big corps wanting to take more of their money for profit.
They been duped by the most bs capitalist talking points.

Realizing that when their costs go down, prices still go up...
You should then wakeup to their costs go up should not excuse prices going up.

price goes up for one reason only, greed

I'm currently working on replacing workers with robots at the mill I work at. The thing is that robots can be quite expensive, a single collaborative robot arm can cost up to 100k once the project is over. The project viability mostly comes from how fast the robot will pay itself from not paying employees to do its job. So the higher paid the employee is, the easier it is to justify replacing with a robot.

It's quite common to use a 2-3 years payback time for such projects. So for a 2 year project, the robot becomes worth it probably around $14-15/hour considering the robot needs spare parts and can work two shifts.

Ok? What is the point?
I actually make robots for a living. That is what we call them anyways but they more dumb a.i.

Only point is to save company money. We gotta prove it does that too. But our services still going up and up.

Point is, customers need to realize the costs that go into a product or service has very little to do with the price and rarely is the motivation to raise a price.
