I'm not a fan of the whole silent protag schtick, but there's something about the look and design of Black Mesa, and having to explore it, that makes it very appealing to me. I mentioned earlier that BioShock is one of my all time favorites, and from what I can tell, it's basically a mix between System Shock 2 and Half-Life. I totally wouldn't mind playing Half-Life 1. Just be sure if you do play it to obsessively investigate every area since a lot of the story is told behind windows and other places you can see but can't access.
