ion?

Of course if you get covid, you are susceptible to lung damage, brain damage, difficulty breathing, IQ loss, ED, etc. But is there any research on how bad those effects are if you get covid after getting vaccinated?

I know the vaccine more or less limits symptoms and short term effects (And the long term effect of dying) but I wasn't sure if there was any research that showed if long term effects were reduced or not.

My Google searching skills have failed me because all I'm getting is research on long term effects of vaccines.

The vaccine has been used for less than a year, how would they have long term studies?

The long term effects are damage done by the initial side effects

Eg, you have long term lung issues if the initial infection is so bad it causes scarring. But if your symptoms are mild, there are no long term effects

this isn't official statement but i would think that it would lessen or stop the effect of long covid.
vaccinated most likely don't end up with fucked up lungs or broken cock (as some of them in the world are experiencing as a result of a covid infection)

ED = erectile dysfunction is the scientific name.

I think this is on the right track. I feel like the long term effects of Covid are due to the severity of the Covid, and since being vaccinated lessens the effects of Covid, it probably makes long term effects less likely.

However this is just me talking out of my ass.

This makes sense, but I guess I was just looking for a study or research to prove that. From a common sense standpoint, totally makes sense, just sometimes the people I discuss these subjects with don't exactly have "common sense "

TC they dont even know the root cause of the long term effects yet, they know its covid related but they're not sure what aspect causes say long term brain fog or BP issues. there's lots of thoughts and there are some studies going on but this is going to take a long time to drill down on.

the best suggestions i've read point to the idea that covid has the potential to cause a form of autoimmune disorder that persists after the virus clears your system, and its reasonable to suggest that worse cases of covid are more likely to cause those long term conditions. all the current research suggests that there's a sharp drop in risk of bad or severe covid if you're fully vaccinated, so the obvious assumption is that the vaccine will help lower the risk. how much or for how long is the question i guess.
