2 new laws going through severely hampering health care and what it means that the Tories have pushed through.

Cutting social care and how much is supported by the government, ultimately resulting in the poor now needing to sell their homes to pay for it.

And now allowing corporations to sit on NHS positions, allowing the government greater access to patient data and ensuring the NHS no longer has to provide health care service in any capacity, preventing patients for petitioning against the removal of services. Government ministers can also appoint whoever they like, for whatever reason, and we are not allowed to question them.

And guess what? Many of those that voted for it have interests in private companies that would benefit from this. Definitely nothing to see there! :)

I genuinely do not know if I will want to continue working in the NHS if all this actually passes the Lords as not sure how to see it as anything else other than its death and a steady march to the utter garbage shit you have in America. I know I've said it before, but I meant it then and I mean it now more than ever. I love working in healthcare, but the American style sickens me and this leaves me frustrated beyond belief. I worked to help others, not to force them to choose between dying and debt.
