Broke: Buying NFTs

Woke: Selling NFTs to idiots who see value in them

Bespoke: Right-clicking existing NFTs and selling them to idiots

I'm gonna just start selling numbers. Congratulations sir, you're now the proud owner of the number 4. Other people may use it in math, accounting, marketing, and pokedexes, but rest assured that the number really belongs to you. That'll be $800.

I'm sorry, but 10,000 of ANYTHING on a PS2 would absolutely destroy your framerate. It'd be like playing chess through the mail. ~johnboy1

What exactly stops a person from creating a new NFT using somebody else's NFT jpeg as a base?

EDIT: Okay, so it made the image tiny. The tl;dr is the OP in that twitter thread was threatening legal action against anyone "using" his NFT so everyone in the replies trolled him by making their twitter pic his NFT.

I feel like that might be wandering into actual intellectual property law or whatever. Selling someone else's art without their consent or something. Simply saving and copying an image that someone else posts publicly is obviously nothing, but using it to sell something sounds iffy. Idk nothing about no copyright law though.

You don't actually own the picture in the NFT. The website host is renting the space to the NFT creator and eventually it will 404.

Many NFTs are 'minted' using stolen art as it is.

No.

Those NFTs are almost always butt-ugly.
