Is there any reason why there are no criminal or at least civil proceedings happening? Isn't the abuse well documented?

State of California settled actually. So internet outrage is all that's left unless someone presses criminal charges.

They did? I thought that was the EEOC, not the DFEH...

This was a perfect storm, hopefully something happens.

Shame that Ubisoft and Riot Games didn't get the same treatment. Ubisoft's was completely ignored and Riot just seems kinda "meh" in media response compared to Activision.

This is all fine and good but how about some actual action and not just leaked emails saying theyre concerned

we will not be doing business with Activision in the near term until leadership has changed

what? They wont because their games sell too well and all they actually care about is the bottom line?

Is Microsoft allowed to prevent a company from releasing a game on Windows? If all three got together and just said they won't allow Activision to release any games on their systems until he is gone then the investors would show up and personally throw him out on his ass.

They cannot ban the game existing but they can ban advertising it as for windows and not list it in the store.

They probably wouldn't do this however.

Windows? No. Activision run their own Blizzard.net store.

On Xbox and the Xbox Store? Probably. Although I don't think it would happen.

I think worst case scenario is that Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo won't do marketing deals with the company anymore.
