When I was a kid, I was running around outside near the fence between our place and the neighbor's. They had tossed a bunch of garbage out and bottle had broken and torn through the bag and part got left behind after they picked it up. It was the base of the bottle, so it had a nice big shard sticking up and I stepped right on it. Got about a 2 inch gash on my heel. Parents said I needed stitches, but never took me to get them. I'm surprised the scar isn't worse, it's just a small faint line at this point.

I kicked a glass door when I was a kid and yes, blood was everywhere and needed 10 stitches.

Yes. But more recently the past year, I picked up a heavy piece of broken ceramic and wow I learned a lesson. Absolutely as sharp as glass.

Anytime some glass breaks in the house I take a long time cleaning up everything as best I can. 6 months later I step on a tiny shard
