I've always been fascinated with these reported experiences, and I had gone deep down the rabbit hole researching them, reading any book I could get my hands on, reading IANDS articles and testimony after testimony. I can go on and on about how the reported experiences are different from culture to culture implying that even without being part of a particular religion, our social upbringing and at least familiarity with religious concepts subconsciously affect what people report to experience. But even within cultures, the experiences from person to person all contradict each other greatly. In a few cases people actually reported seeing family members who were still alive, that doesn't make any sense. I almost drowned in the wave pool at Six Flags. i was almost drowned in a wave pool at a water park. kid in the group i was with lied about how well he could swim, the waves started and he freaked the fuck out and decided i was a good flotation device. had to swim the dumbass about 50 yards before a lifeguard saw what was happening and tossed him a float, the whole time he was pushing my head under water. --- Taarsidath-an halsaam.
