Noumas 11/20/21 11:03:09 AM #1:	The recent one in 2016 just returned to netflix. As a teen I used to love these movies but I can't stand them now. I like Matt Damon but the action and shaky camera is straight up terrible. pinky0926 11/20/21 11:06:32 AM #2:	They definitely aged really poorly. I think it's because so much of the appeal was the novelty factor at the time. They came out when the last tough guy anyone cared about was Pierce Brosnan playing James Bond. And then you get Jason Bourne who looks completely normal and lacks charisma and doesn't do anything fancy but he just fucks shit up immediately. But now we have John Wick and Bryan Mills and a host of other franchises cashing in on this idea. It was a soulless cash grab with literally nothing original or fresh repeating the same formula and caricatures from the previous movies. The camerawork for the Vegas strip chase was so shockingly bad in comparison to the trilogy and even the spinoff. Makeveli_lives posted... The 2016 one was fine.
