On Twitch they're getting on average 2,000-4,000 viewers and on YouTube they get little under a thousand.

The content is a lot better than I expected and clearly there's a lot of time and money being put in it. I wonder how long it'll last for.

It's a modern take on the channel. Rebooted versions of X-Play and Attack of The Show, Ninja Warrior/Takeshi's Castle reruns, Scott The Woz "reruns", Esports coverage.

They brought back Adam Sessler and Kevin Pereira, and the new presenters are actually really good.

Brilliant idea tbqh. There's already a YT channel that plays full recorded episodes of X-Play so why not do that for everything else as backend material.

It's too big and the window was already shut closed for even new content creators because it's a heavily sponsored-ruled space.

They really shouldn't do the "humor".

Also, I knew this was coming, they've been uploading videos to YouTube since that reunion thing they did, and they all only get like 10-20k views and stuff, despite 250k subs at the time lol. They were so cringy. The humor attempts are so bad.

YouTube numbers look good to me, it looks like they are getting at least 25k views a video which isn't bad at all.

Which is ironic, because they were pioneers in the space in a lot of ways. They had a show dedicated to esports before most gamers even realized it was a thing.

This kind of reeks of some movie about a washed up musician trying to make a comeback but nobody cares, even though back in the day, he was a pioneer.

adapt or die, nobody owes g4 any favors, they made their money, if they can't compete in the current market they're trying to inject themselves back into, they don't have what it takes. They're not entitled to viewers, they gotta earn them numbers like everyone else.
