I couldn't finish last season because I just couldn't bring myself to care about these people anymore. I didn't bother with the wedding and I just bounced. Deleted it off the DVR and I'm done. I tried to get back into it's but I sat there on the DVR all summer long and then I just said F it. I don't care about the last season. I just don't care anymore.

Anyway, I have to pee but I think my brother is in my bathroom. I hope we don't have COVID and this is just the flu. I wanted to get a flu shot, but they didn't give it to me because of the surgery, pain meds, and heavy antibiotics they had me on. They said they'd give me the jab next time I came in. But now it's too late. I got sick just before I could get back in and just before I could get my COVID-19 Booster as well. Really shitty timing.

I'm certain whatever I have my brother gave it to me. He is one of those shitty mask wearers. Doesn't have a tight fit. Takes it off to yell something. Wears the chin diaper. Has his nose out. It's just worthless, the way he wears the masks. He's got this worse than I do. He already has sleep apnea.

That show Ghosts on CBS is pretty funny. It is a remake of a British show. I like it. If you're wondering what idiot watches that network TV dreck, as you can see, it's me. I'm one of those. Never got into CSI and the likes myself. But I did watch like the first 10-15 seasons of Law and Order and SVU.

The Lions. I kind of almost wanted them to go 0-17. Just got the lulz. Now we have another season with a tie that could have been a win, and every time it happens someone acts like they didn't know you could tie in the NFL.

Crawford with the TKO over Porter. Crawford did what I thought he would do. Use the early rounds to figure out Shawn, then took over the fight in the end. This was maybe the best of Porter we've ever seen. He has gotten better every single match of the last few years. We have to see Crawford v Spence now. If Bud really wants to fight Errol Spence Jr., he may have to step away from Top Rank. But even that wouldn't guarantee a fight. If others want to duck him, they'll still duck him.

Honestly kinda felt that way in season 1 when I stopped. It feels like a show that takes itself REAL seriously. Like, it acts like this is THE tear-jerking scene of this year's oscar winning Best Drama. Except they use that tone 12 times an episode for like, a fight about who should take out the trash lol. I peaced out pretty early on that show.

Triple overtime just to lose to the Kings. Terrible showing. You can't keep letting people push you to OT in the first place. If the Lakers don't tighten this up they're gonna be burned out before long. All these extra minutes are not helpful at all for the oldest team in the league. 6 overtimes in 21 games. Under .500. 7-7 against teams under .500. 7th in the West. They are fortunate that it's only the first quarter of the season in the books. But the Suns and my Warriors are looking so damn good right now in the West. The East looking so good at the top too. This season is shaping up to be competitive as hell. I love it.

Yup, it's been beating a dead horse for like 2 seasons going back to the fire over and over. There's really nowhere for it to go and they've boxed themselves into a corner with the ending because they already showed it a ton of times.

Eh. I don't really watch shows like that anymore after I finished Brothers & Sisters and thought to myself, homie, you got enough drama with your real life family.

I decided I don't need more of it from TV families unless there's sci-fi or supernatural elements.

It's almost a good thing that I was too sick to eat for a few days anyway. Took a bit of the sting out of that. If I still couldn't taste and smell, I'm not sure I'd make it. I already have nearly nothing to live for. Cooking is also my vocation and I'm not qualified for anything else. I'd be ruined. The pandemic would have taken everything from me and not just our business. Which almost feels impossible to get started again. At least I know some people still want our food. They ask about us. That makes me feel a bit happy. And still a bit sad as well.

Actually got some things accomplished today. Out of the house. Got groceries. Got a washer here. The washing machine and the dryer were destroyed in the big flood in the summer. Haven't had an in house washer in months. Still can't afford a dryer, but this is something. Much better than the situation was just prior.

All of that absolutely wrecked me though. I'm dying here. My back. My lungs are on fire. Ice recovered from COVID, but the effects of it on me linger on. I'm working my way back though. Slowly but surely.
