Original cast member Rockmond Dunbar is leaving the hit Fox drama series 9-1-1 created by Ryan Murphy after more than 4 seasons after the actor REFUSED to get the COVID-19 vaccine that was mandated by Disney!!

He maintains that he is NOT anti-vaxx but doesn't believe in the vaccine and after his request for a medical AND religious exemption were denied, he was ultimately fired by Disney in the end...

He said in a statement "I applied for religious and medical accommodations pursuant to the law and unfortunately was denied by my employer, he said. My sincerely held beliefs and private medical history are very intimate and personal aspects of my life that I do not publicly discuss and have no desire to start now. Ive been an actor in this business for 30 years, but my greatest roles are as a husband and father to our 4 small children. As a man that walks in faith, I look forward to what the future holds.I have enjoyed the last 5 seasons with this wonderful cast and crew and will cherish the time Ive been blessed to spend with this series and wish everyone involved nothing but the best"..

A spokesman for 20th Television said they take the health and safety of all of their employees seriously and have implemented a mandatory vaccination confirmation process and those who do not meet the criteria will be terminated.

The actor was well liked among the cast especially with the showrunner, Tim Minear and the producers left his story open ended in the event he returns but it is unlikely at this point.

He played Angela Basset's husband in the show who came out gay in the first season and divorced from her though stayed on to co-parent their kids.

Those with the vaccine can get and spread covid just like those without the vaccine or those with natural immunity. This is nothing but a power play to demand people to get something they don't want. Communism is alive and well in the US of A, 1960's Soviet Russia would be proud of what they've been able to accomplish in America.
