Fact of the matter is, I just dont care about a prequel of a character that was never that interesting and isn't even alive anymore so the movie seems ultimately pointless in the grand scheme of the mcu and just filler

I recently watched it on a movie date. It's good, Scarjo is great but the actress that plays her little sister steals the show and her story is truly heartbreaking. Her acting made me well up a bit at parts of the film.

Officer Hopper from Stranger Things is also in this movie and he's good for mostly a few chuckles but his character plays into the story and I think it's supposed to be campy at times. He was better in Hellboy.

The stunts were great and there where very few times where I could tell that Scarlett Johannson was wearing a red wig (which was immersion breaking for me in previous films).

Four stars.

I was very surprised because it seemed to be marketed as one. Overall, the movie is okay. There's some good fights in it. Plot was serviceable enough. Hoppers character was fun. I did not care for the MCU interpretation of one of the antagonists though, but that requires outside knowledge to be disappointed.

I didnt think it was bad and I enjoy the action scenes but yeah you dont really need to see it

I've watched a bunch of marvel movies in the past month or so including a bunch just today, but there are still some I haven't seen and I haven't gone completely in order. I think I prefer just kinda cluster-binging them like this when I can. The flow is better for me that way. I would have gone back and watched everything in release order if I had platforms to watch them all on but I don't, so I've just sort of done the best I can since stories have converged.

Black Widow's best showing was in What if sadly enough, and I love Scarlett. They just didn't do enough for her.

I still haven't seen anything aside from GotG, GotG2, Iron Man 3, Thor: Ragnarok, and Shang-Chi.

Sure I'll catch bits and pieces of whatever's playing once in a while, but not much.

It'll probably tie into the Hawkeye show coming up. Dunno about the movies yet, though, but at some point it definitely will.

Youre confusing prequel with interquel. It was marketed as being more about before Black Widow was even in the Avengers.
