Are you still wearing clothes and shoes that are 3+ years old?

according to statistics, people ought to be buying new clothes every year and shoes every 2 years on average and not to be wearing outdated clothing past 3 years...but are you still wearing clothing passed that expiry date?

I have clothes from like 10 years ago I still wear occasionally

I didn't think they expired.

I think most of my stuff(that I wear, not just have still) is from the last 2 or 3 years though.

Same. I still have a Fubu shirt I got at JCPenny when the brand first started and wasnt even known. Had LL Cool J on the rack and I couldnt say no. Still have several items of clothing from those days.

I tend to buy a few things every year but if II have a perfectly good shirt from 5 years ago, i'm gonna godamn wear it because I probably liked it when I got it.

No. That was about 120lbs ago and that stuff is way too big for me now. Even clothes from last year are a little too loose on me.

If not for that, I generally wear clothes until they fall apart. I don't care about fashion or any of that stuff.

according to actual statistics, our consumption habits are exhausting the earth's resources far faster than it is capable of regenerating them. in other words, your new thing means one less thing for someone else tomorrow. also, the biosphere is collapsing.
