If so, does it ever annoy you?

I have one friend who will often text me randomly on the weekends asking to grab food, always on that same night. Then if I don't answer or say no, I can tell he gets kind of insulted.

It can be nice occasionally, but most of the time I don't feel like going out at the drop of a hat. A lot of the time I'll be settled in watching or playing something with a snack or a drink, and I'll get a text asking to go eat sushi with him in town in a couple hours. Rarely will I feel like dropping everything, getting ready, and driving out to spend a couple hours in the restaurant with him.

Usually I'll say I already ate or just act like I didn't see the text (legitimately don't see it if I was into something at the time) but I say yes enough that he keeps doing it.

Just wondering if this would annoy anyone else or if I just seem like a dick. It's more the fact that he gets passive aggressive if I say no or don't answer ("no answer man? alright....."). If he just brushed it off it wouldn't be so bad. I really prefer planning shit out a day or two in advance. With the other friend I hang out with we set something up like a whole week in advance, date and time and everything.

it would annoy me if it's last minute and consistentally. I usually plan hang outs days or a week in advance.

It's never anything but last minute with this guy. And the thing that's even worse is that he's always, always late. Like a good 10-15 minutes past when we were supposed to meet. I'm like, dude you wanted to do this. At least don't make me wait for you.

She'll send me a text at like 11pm on a Saturday of "Wanna go to the bar?" I'm either out already or have decided to stay in. Either way my night is planned by that point
