I went to a Mcds with 2 people, 1 a manager, he was in his office, the other dude was the only one on hand.

This was after a large shift got off. And they are a mile from the facility. They damn well know this. Even in slowtown we had 4 on hand.

Next to a large business that ends at night = lets keep 2 on staff,1 on point

Next to a thoroughfare that is not nearly as busy, with a cheapskate manager = lets keep 4 men, 3 on point.

Also, learn what a labor percentage is, it's not a secret.

If you don't like them being short staffed or taking a while to make your food then stop being lazy and cook food at home.

As someone who was a district manager for over a decade, good. Close down the dining rooms. Saves a ton of money over the course of the year.

More places need to be like Checkers/Rallys and just have a drive thru and walk up window.

I started out at $7 in *2001* (+1.85 above minimum wage, at the start)

After 11 years, I was making $0.85 above minimum wage, and my payscale did NOT go up when it was raised.

They don't want to raise wages so instead they reduce operating costs (and profit potential) by reducing hours. It's basically cutting off their nose to spite the face.
