I'm already bored with ACnh v.2.0 and I need something to play. Give me suggestions. I have a switch and an Xbox one that I mostly use. The last three games I played I was Metroid:Dread (was alright), Skyrim (I got to lv.75 and did as much as I could besides the dark brotherhood and Companion quests), and Super Mario 3D world (I love all things Mario and loved this game).

Play Innocence: A Plague Tale. I'm playing it right now and it's an awesome game and it will only take you about 15-20 hours to depending on if you want to get all the achievements. It's on Gamepass.

---
Now Playing: "The Hunt for the Two Missing Nintendo 64 Games"
An expansion came out, but I'm still a third of the way through!

I don't have Gamepass. I'm still not sure if I want to switch over to a PS5 or stick with the Microsoft and get a series X. So I never bothered to subscribe to Gamepass.

Read the online reviews and saw some playthroughs, just doesn't seem like it's for me.

How is Skyrim in the mid to late game, TC?

I'm currently around level 35 and I've almost completed the Thief's guild (I currently have the skeleton key daedric artifact). I've joined the Stormcloaks and taken over Whiterun. I also just completed the quest to get the "Black Star" reusable soul gem. I've spent most of my time hanging out around Whiterun, Solitude, Riften, and a little bit of Windhelm. I haven't even been to Falkreath yet!

I've gotten into a glut though, I haven't played much and I've started getting bored. My character is mostly a melee-centric fighter specializing in one handed weapons and light armor. The only magic I routinely use is conjuration. I'm leveled pretty high in enchanting and alchemy but I'm having trouble leveling up smithing.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm a bard too. I joined the faction but I haven't done any of the miscellaneous quests related to the guild yet.

I forgot about listing theives guild, I did it in another playthrough a long time ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I personally sided with the Empire because I believe in keeping Tiber Septim's empire in tact despite the outlawing of Talos worship. The greatest way to honour almighty Talos is by keeping his empire strong and united.

The mid to late game all depends on what you do tbh. I would personally go and find more Daedric princes quests if I were you. They're fun and provide you with more unique items. If you haven't already, take a break from the main quest and be a vampire hunter and join the Dawnguard or join the vampires themselves. <.<

If you're having trouble with smithing just buy all of the iron ignots you can find or make and craft iron daggers like crazy. You'll level up smithing no problem.

I'd also go to Falkreath and gain the Jarl's favour and buy my favorite plot of land.
Then work on building up your new manor.

Don't be afraid to experiment with archery or destruction magic if you're really bored and want to mix it up. Light. Armour sucks late game just a aheads up. Elder dragons carve through it like butter.

And once done the main quest. Don't forget to let Miiraak know who the best mother Fuckin Dragonborn is on Solestheim.

I know where the boat to Solstheim is but I haven't explored there yet. I sided with the Stormcloaks because of the introductory sequence where the Empire tried to execute me despite me not being on the list of criminals.

I found a Vampire Castle just by exploring around, so I assume it's part of the Dawnguard DLC. I'll probably do the Falkreath stuff next and build a new house, and then do the Dawnguard stuff. I occasionally hit up High Hrothgar just to find a new shout, and the "main quest" I've only partly discovered but I think I'm supposed to infiltrate the Thalmor or something.

So yeah, Skyrim is kind of all over the place if you are a new player but are starting with the Special or Anniversary edition where you are constantly getting bombarded with sidequests. I'm going to keep playing though.

Anniversary Edition Skyrim costs $66.99 Canadian! Fuck that. If I'm going to spend money on a game it can't be one that I have two editions of already.

I envy you kelemvor, playing Skyrim for da first time. I hope you have a lot of fun.

It's only $15.99 Canadian right now. I'm leaning towards this but haven't made up my mind.
