Bedbugs have ways to find food. I want to know which is truer

A. There will be more bedbugs in a home with lots of people because more are brought in.

B. There will be more bedbugs in a home with lots of people because bedbugs scent the food.

They are like fleas, as soon as they get brought in and have just enough to lay eggs they just take over.

Like the 2 legged things from Tremors 2.

bedbugs dont travel unassisted, you're not going to get an infestation of bedbugs by leaving out food like you would with ants. they're brought to the environment by a host.

You may be right but they are older than hominids. Wikipedia says
