I think the horror elements of the swamp works in this game because it's unexpected. It's just a difference of preference at the end the day. I just lose all interest if there's nothing left to earn with currency or skill points. It's different if that's never in the game. Plus stuff like currency becomes a personal high score. Just entertaining to see how high you can get it before you quit.
