i dont recall feeling a difference between paxil and lexapro. is there typically one?

EDIT: i looked it up. 25% of people on paxil get side effects like nausea/drowsiness/headache, compared to only 5% on lexapro.

i've basically been off meds just about all of this year and it's been awful to say the least, probably the most anxious i've ever been in my life

it's mainly the potential withdrawal down the line i don't want to deal with. i was on paxil from like age 10 all the way through high school, and the withdrawal when i finally went off it was bar none the worst i have ever experienced.

Lexapro works fantastic for me at 20mg. Only drawback is complete lack of sex drive. I have no desire to date or have sex with anyone. Thing is, I've found that I like it. I've made a lot of friends that are ladies since, with no desire to be with any of them, and it's freeing. I've come to accept my medically induced asexuality.

I used to take Lexapro, it worked for a while until I had to stop taking it for a short period of time, then when I tried to go back on it the side effects became very nasty.
