Is it easy? I'm at level like 26 and have been an arcanist the whole time but feel like i should experiment. Is it best to finish objectives with my first class or does it not matter?

What other classes should I check out?

Talking A Realm Reborn only, none of the expansions

Very easy, just go to the class trainer for the other class and they'll give you the ability to switch (by swapping to that new class's weapon)

Level starts over. But I'm pretty sure you level faster

There's only two classes that share levels. For every other class, it gets its own level. It's also worth knowing, though, that many of the expansion classes start at a higher level when you unlock them.

Hmm so how does this work with the free trial? The free trial says I can play free until level 60. Is it a situation where I keep earning EXP at the same high rate, and since it resets to level 1, I just accumulate levels super fast?

Any class you can unlock, you can level up to 60 in the free trial. The game is insanely generous that way.

Ohh for real? So I could level to 60 as Arcanist, switch to something else, and level that up to 60 and still be within the trial?

Yeah, you could level every ARR/Heavensward job to 60 without paying a dime if you wanted to.

Depends on what you enjoy. I personally would recommend Archer into Bard because you get to stay constantly mobile. Monk is also a lot of fun.
