First of all, great job! Bloodborne can be tough to do as your first Soulsborne thing.

With Dark Souls 1? Pick the Master Key & have fun. That way - You can explore most of the map from the beginning of the game.

I beat Bloodborne earlier this year. Game was hard at the beginning but I beat everything (DLC included). I got really into the Chalice Dungeons which I think hurt my experience with the game since somewhere around the Ebrietas fight it became kind of easy, with only Orphan of Kos being a challenge because I had gotten so many Echoes clearing a Chalice Dungeon between each main-game area

Anyway, I used a guide to get to Undead Burg but I think I'm gonna go completely blind from hereon out and see where the game takes me.

I kind of have a feel for the mechanics though having a useful shield and it being slower is definitely a departure from Bloodborne. I do like the look of the world so far though, from the small area I've seen (Firelink Shrine)

That dragon in the bridge scared the crap out of me but a friend of mine had told me to shoot its tail to get a neat sword and I have it.

Not sure if I should stick to my axe/morning star or use my dragon blade

Its really good early on, but the damage drops off later due to crap or no scaling.

I knew there were two because I watched a Souls boss ranking video a few years ago and the "surprise" gargoyle was included.
Still fucked me up though.
