His son is cursed, his fox spirit is dead, his best friend lost an eye, and he spends all day doing paperwork.

Well.... Boruto spoilers
He lost Kuruma and with him most of his power he had before Sasuke lost an eye,too and aliens are coming that are so strong even with Kuruma he was still struggling against them and Sasuke even with his Rinnigan was constantly getting his ass kicked too, so without their powers they're basically sitting ducks, his son is being taken over by an alien too and so the other leaders effecively told him, Sasuke told him to that either he kills Boruto before he turns into the alien that will kill them all or they will, Naruto nearly breaks his own son's neck in a "Tell me about the rabbits, George" kinda scene but thankfully some meds from the doc showed up just in time to basically give him hope but it's vague and temporay because they don't know if it will work or not, oh and since the world was at peace because Naruto and Sasuke were effectively gods nobody could go against once this gets out to the public and others who have a bone to pick with the leaf it could be another war or worse. In short, Naruto's life fucking sucks, meanwhile ichigo is effectively living a normal life with part time ghost busting

Lmao they cant even deal with an alien threat without shit falling to pieces. At least the Z fighters had a line of defense and never slacked off.

It gets worse, Turns out the alien had a cultist that loved him like a god and he's eager to avenge his death, and he's much much stronger than the alien that Kuruma had to kill himself for Naruto to be able to defeat him, he's so strong that Naruto's adoptive son got on his hands and knees to beg the guy to please just take him and not Naruto or the village, instead he gets his ass kicked by this guy and while he tells him not only is he going to kill Naruto, Sasuke and the village the entire world will die, that's the ultimate goal of these people to kill the entire world, meanwhile Boruto and Kawaki, Naruto's apotive son, Boruto will become the ailen, Kawaki will also become an alien or die in the process, oh and there's also this strange woman with a power that makes her capable of seeing everything and anything so there's no hiding from her, just by being near her people turn into her simps,too and she desperately wants to fuck Kawaki and Boruto to the point while watching this prior thing she's effectively squeeling in delight especially when Boruto managed to show up to try and save Kawaki his adoptive brother at this point, it doesn't go well and he gets beat up too and so beat up he ends up being taken over by the alien again which means the meds don't work, which means yet again Naruto will effectively have to do his duty as Hokage and kill his son to protect his village or do his duty as a father and watch his son die from the inside out as the ailen takes him over and then goes on a genocide run across the world
