In a shocking decision, it's been reported that 59 y/o Emilio Estevez, who made his triumphant return as Hockey Coach, Gordon Bombay in Mighty Ducks: Game Changers has QUIT the series after it was revealed he REFUSED to get the COVID-19 vaccine that was mandated by Disney!!

Estevez, the son of eco-liberal activist Martin Sheen and brother of Charlie Sheen is reportedly refusing to take a vaccine.

Although he has yet to respond to the story, other sources claim he didn't agree with the creative direction of the series but no matter what the reasoning, he isn't changing his mind once production resumes in early 2022...

There's a conflict over him not returning because of covid vaccination and it was not a decision made abruptly but following a prolonged debate between production and Estevez's team.

The show was one of multiple Disney TV shows that requires vaccinations for Zne A which is comprised of actors and certain members of the crew where vaccination is mandatory

another story suggest there are creative differences that motivated his departure though this is not confirmed as well.

Scripts have already been planned that are taken into account if he were to return or not and even though he was arguably the biggest hook for the show's return, the show didn't centre around him as they have developed enough for other characters and solid enough storyline they could go without him.

There could be other cameos to return including Joshua Jackson, the mighty ducks captain of the show who did not show up for the original.

Lauren Graham, Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Julee Cerda, Luke Islam, Bella Higginbotham, Taegen Burns, De'Jon Watts and Kiefer O'Reilly will return who became the new Mighty Ducks at the end of the Season 1 finale.

Production for Season 2 is set for next year in Vancouver, Canada
