For the first time in many years hackers while able to home brew and pirate games, cannot for the life of them figure out how to play online without getting their account banned.

There's only like 5 games with a consistently active online prescense anyway so this doesn't mean much. Take out Smash, Mario Kart, Pokemon, Splatoon and...Animal Crossing? I don't even know, what do they have after that that's even worth fighting to keep? I mean Fortnite and Apex are a thing but the switch is the worst version for that isn't it?

Is there really any reason to go online? If youre a pirate, you dont need the nintendo store. You dont need online for local multiplayer. Is there any point to playing most Nintendo games with strangers over the internet?
