Well I had Jonathan Taylor going in two leagues and with 35 points thought I was pretty set. And of course as is the case in fantasy, one opponent had Chubb and the other has Connor completely negating Taylor. =/ Might still win in one but my other team is mostly shitting the bed outside of Taylor. Hate fantasy days like this.

I blame Lafleur for not having more trick plays to have... anyone else throw the ball. Randall Cobb would have had a better game passing than this.

Sure would be cool if we had more than 1 TD and not have to keep trusting the defense

I remember one time (I think 2013ish?) when the Packers were playing the Cheatriots in New England with Rodgers sidelined (and I think Matt Flynn starting)... and almost won because McCarthy got crafty. Opened the game with a surprise onside kick, for example. LaFleur didn't show any of the same imagination and that's a large reason we lost. The other part is Jordan Love's lack of experience - and while you can partially blame the loss on that, you can't really blame him. Losing is bound to happen in such a circumstance. At least Loverboy shows some promise.

funny thing is I watch more football/follow more podcasts now than I did when I won pick em a few years back

maybe I just listen to the wrong people

I just haven't put in nearly the same effort or taken in nearly as much media. Outside of week 1 I've yet to have a single week I actually feel good about. Any good pick I hit is countered by a bad loss, like when the Colts blew it last week and completely negated the Steelers.

I don't even look at the standings. If I'm barely clinging to a playoff spot in the other league week by week, I can only imagine how badly I'm doing in the main one. Every week I come in at either 11th or 12th like clockwork. I'm at 11th right now and I wouldn't be surprised if I drop to 12th again.

I don't have the same drive, and honestly it's a good thing. Maybe it means my OCD isn't hitting so badly this year. If this turns into the first year I miss the playoffs, it could be a good thing. I've had my flashes of OCD in suicide, but nothing as bad as last year.
