She kept most of the speed of the others, so we didnt have an Adventure situation. Lack of a spin-dash meant you had to be smarter with the level geometry to gain momentum. Lack of a ball mode meant you had to master the hammer swings if you wanted to kill enemies and prolong your air time. Really added a layer of skill and difficulty that the franchise rarely flirts with outside of scoring for ranks.
