My dad's side of the family is from the WY/MT border area

I mean I guess compared to some places, sure. He grew up on a ranch, rode his horse into the Bighorn mountains with his brothers as a kid, had all kinds of adventures

I personally think raising kids in a city is a poor decision. No nature, little sun, lots of pollution = allergies, asthma, depression and anxiety

I imagine Eastern Montana is pretty hard to grow up in. It's by some measurements the most remote place in the lower 48.

Honestly it's probably best to get them in an area where both the city and the country are close by.

Im not following what you didn't like?

City dwellers are 40% more likely to suffer from mood disorders . (https://news.stanford.edu/2015/06/30/hiking-mental-health- 063015/#:~:text=Just%20as%20urbanization %20and%20disconnection,to%20people%20in%20rural%20areas.)

It's well known air pollutants cause asthma and lack of exposure to allergens as a kid cause allergies

I wasn't trying to be elitist or something, I grew up in a city . My asthma even went away when I moved to a rural area

If you see a supercar on the streets with Montana plates then the owner is a tax evader.

"City" is ambiguous. Depends on the city, and what part of the city.

Also sunlight is a function of climate, not buildings.
