It wouldn't work unless the majority of the nation took part in this. It may slowly change, but not fast enough. Maybe another 100 years from now or something, things will be better.

I think in Simpsons, Homer solved the issue by reminding everyone "we all like chicken". They went to Jerusalem and Homer went crazy and thought he was a prophet. It's actually a real phenomenon called Jerusalem Syndrome. Anyway, at the end of the episode I remember he is talking to a crowd of Jews, Muslims and Christians and he says they should bond over their mutual like of chicken

it's a lot harder for a country of 300+m to do it than a small nation like israel where they live within 20 miles of each other

Tons of Jewish people are agnostic, I think it's like a quarter of Israel's population. Maybe a higher percentage than the US.

It's really not that simple. Can't force people to marry the other side.

Also, most would stick with their own, unless the Palestinians grew up in Israel and we're Christian or Jewish.

Really just Christian. Because of the sociopolitical terms, Palestinian Jew would be pre-Israel Jews in the region
