Tactical retreat or camping, yeah. If they can't counterplay against it, then why not. Dubs only out here.

Dark Souls

- Chainstabs (twas the meta, adapt or die)
- The Walk of Death with Dark bead at invasion spawn spots
- Tumblebuffing friendly phantoms with the Stone Greatsword
- Pancaking phantoms with the Moveswap glitch

Yes. One time playing Dissidia Final Fantasy, I had a homing hp attack out and it was near where my friend and I were fighting, with enough bravery to win the fight if it landed. He caught me with a brave attack that can have an hp attack follow-up, and in this case it would have been enough to win him the fight. Well, after he caught me with the brave attack I saw my HP attack getting close and for whatever reason I said "wait!" And my friend did. Then he got hit by my homing attack and lost.

Not my proudest moment, but a very cowardly and desperate move that suits a treacherous villain such as the emperor.

I've taken advantage of the chameleon spell in Dark Souls a time or two to knock people down elevators when I've gotten invaded lol. Taken part in some good old fashioned gank squads too

Probably the funniest was this guy that kept invading at the Cathedral in DS3, and 3 of us kept getting him in a corner and destroying him. He finally caught the host off guard and killed him, and sent us a message bragging about it after 10+ invasions

I love Dark Souls pvp, since imo once someone invades your world, no tactic (barring cheat engine) is too low to send them back home

but i've camped with a shotgun and gunned down people in FPS games.

My entire tactics in DC universe online was gun combos and time freezing to not let my opponent move.
Then my super was turning into an invincible present Joker box as my opponent whales on me until I explode.
Lather rinse repeat

Granted some people were smart enough to pick up my box and toss me several blocks away out of the fight area and I'd lose.
But sometimes they didn't!

When you're invaded in Dark Souls, anything is fair game. They are interrupting your singleplayer experience and possibly preventing you from progressing. They are a nuisance to be discarded in whatever way causes the least inconvenience to yourself.

Once in SC4 I had this massive 20-something win streak as sigfried and I started losing and the stage had a short wall to prevent ring outs so I backed up against it and did a 1B to fling the guy over it and keep winning.

I mean the dumbass ran into the 1B so I don't really feel that bad about it. He could have just fucking waited for time.

In PVP, anything goes outside of third party alterations. No such thing as cowardly, that's just the cry of a scrub.
