I think people only dislike Gore because it makes them think of Al Gore for a moment and that repulsion colors the listen. That album is fine It's okay. It's better than Diamond Eyes and Adrenaline. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

No, Gore is legitimately terrible. The production is Californication levels of horrendous and only had 3 noteworthy songs on it. Two of them being the first two tracks and the other being Phantom Bride See that's the same for S/T with me, only 3 notable songs (Hexagram, Pins and Needles, Minerva) everything else is forgettable. And I don't know what it is about Ohms but I've listened to it a few times and it just doesn't stick with me. I put Gore on recently and it clicked instantly. --- PSN Stewman_Magoo ... S/T is the darkest and most interesting album they have made. Its such a creepy and uneasy album.
Diamond Eyes is the most boring and straight forward rock album they have ever done. Beauty School and Sextape are the best songs, and they are basically the same song. Adrenaline is just nu metal crap that I loved as a teen but can't relate to anymore. Production aside, Gore is a decent listen in that it's still a pretty creative album with a lot of variety. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
