I'm running some plastic as well. Almost fucked up but saved it last possible second.
How much material did you go through? I know you said 5-10k. One time we ran some cones and vendor gave us old drawing. We ran it to spec then got NCR for using outdated drawing. People dont get fired for that type of mistake on a first time offence or unless its clear that they were extremely negligent. fuck I worked at one place where one of the hundigger operators (think a gigantic cnc machine for wood) would wreck multiple blades every year.
