The form is obtained when a deceased Zoura's lingering soul is reborn through the power of their own hatred to both humans and Pokmon. Hisuian Zorua can change its appearance to an illusion to appear to any human or Pokmon that are alone. However, their ghostly illusions are created by spite channeled through the fur on its head and tail. Hisuian Zorua can become stronger by absorbing the terror of those who have witnessed its terrifying illusions. Zoroark: In the Hisui region, Zoroark takes on drastic ghostly appearance due to dying from the harsh conditions and reborn through spite. The illusions channeled through Hisuian Zoroark's long withering fur are full of spite. This spite illusion can uniquely cause physical harm to its opponent on both outside and inside.
