Reckless...something, for whoever was managing the prop department? But then again, since it was a real weapon, they had to have had some sort of weapons consultant involved.

Movies generally use real guns, not props. They also load the blanks with extra powder for large muzzle flashes.

Probably just negligence/wrongful death lawsuits and labor fines.

Criminally and civilly Baldwin isnt at fault.

I dont even think this goes to criminal trial unless they uncover some plot to want this person to be killed.

but a hugeeeeeeeeee financial settlement by the studio is going to be the probable outcome.

With CGI as good as it is now, I don't get why they even load the gun with blanks.

You would think they could replicate whatever visuals they would want in post.

Maybe some kind of minor charge(s) for reckless mishandling of a firearm.

Unless some kind of malicious intent surfaces I don't think anyone will be charged for the woman's death. But I don't think that will happen. Seems like it was clearly an accident to me from what I know. A dumb and tragic accident that should have been avoided. But still an accident none the less.

really depends on what they find out in the investigation. The guns used aren't their personal weapons, they are actually issued from an armory, and the armorer is supposed to inspect the weapon with the actor and hand it over, and the actor is supposed to double check in front of the armorer.

if Alec simply took the gun and was under the assumption it was clear, then both him and the armorer should be hit with some reckless and negligent use of a firearm, maybe even involuntary manslaughter somewhere.

If it was or was not properly inspected by them both but later Alec handed it off to others and took it back without going thru another inspection, then who knows.

Were they filming a first person view scene of him shooting the viewer? Or was he just messing around and shot halena?
