Also Newtypes can be more, or less powerful, but there's no real levels to it... Or way to gauge it. Same with Chakra but thats used in less inventive ways and has the added bonus of Im running out of chakra! which means literally nothing. All the others mentioned are pretty boring. In addition, the way nen abilities form seems semi-random and the abilities get super obtuse as the series goes on. Pretty much any abilities that debuted in or after the Chimera Ant Arc seemed like they wouldve been Specialist abilities earlier in the series.
