It's hard for me to say no. I had to do some laundry today, and they wanted me to come in today and tomorrow... I agreed to go in tomorrow but had to do chores today.

Now that I've said yes, it's probably going to keep happening, isn't it? I also rarely miss work.

If your organization if the type to abuse you then yes it'll keep happening. Good places appreciates your hard work and know how to give proper raises for it.

unless you're expected to be on call outside of normal work hours, or you want more hours, don't answer the phone if its your day off.
